Church and dinner with family

We all got all dressed up and ready for church on Easter morning. Kiana looked like such a little lady in her dress and Mav was so cute with his little tie :) The kids were both so good in church! I was really proud of both of them! Kiana fell asleep on the way home and took a nap. Then Grandpa and Carilyn came for dinner.




After dinner, we hid eggs for Kiana to find again, and with each egg she would yell "Easter...another Easter" LOL.







All in all, it was an exhausting, but fun weekend with lots of memories and traditions being formed with our little family! Even if Mav slept through most of it :)

The Easter Bunny came!!!

Kiana woke up bright and early Sunday morning and we asked her if the Easter bunny had come. She went to the dining room window, looked out, and said "no...he not come yet". I told her to look on the dining room table (which she had just walked by) and she got all excited and screamed "Darby". The first thing she had noticed was her Darby doll from Tigger and Pooh :) She also got a scooter, some books, stickers, and a little bit of candy.

Cracking...errr...coloring eggs

Saturday evening, Kiana got to color Easter eggs. She dropped them into the dye so hard that they cracked a little. It took her all of 5 minutes probably to color a dozen eggs LOL.

Sprinkles everywhere!!!

On Saturday, Ma-Maw and Pa-Paw came to visit. Kiana adores her Pa-Paw and keeps him busy the entire time he's here! That afternoon, we decorated our Easter cookies and Kiana went a tad overboard with the sprinkles. I think she ate more of the icing than she put on the cookies :)

Friday, Kiana and I baked sugar cookies for Easter. She loved being able to help me put the ingredients in and mix them up. Of course her favorite part was licking the beaters LOL.

Easter Fun

We had a fun-filled Easter weekend with lots of activities. Mav is obviously still too young to "get" it, but Kiana was really a lot of fun to watch this year. She had her first egg hunt of the year at playgroup on Thursday. After we had found all the eggs, she yelled "yay....we found Easter" LOL. She really keeps us laughing!
